Cheval Imperial Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot are produced from vineyards around the old town of Puichéric which lies about 10 miles east of Carcassonne in the Minervois area. Here the chalky clay soils produce vibrant, fruity wines that are medium bodied and moderately structured with balanced acidity.
