Vines for Nebel grow along the rolling hills of the Rhine River in loess soil (windblown silt with sand and some clay). The Rheinhessen enjoys relatively cool climatic conditions, where the long ripening period allows Riesling grapes to develop their fine, fruity aromas in the late autumn sunshine.
This aromatic Riesling shows bright citrus and floral notes on the nose. On the palate, white peach and grapefruit flavors abound. A hint of sweetness is matched perfectly by green apple-like acidity leading up to a clean, honeyed finish.
